About the Project
Mann Robinson Productions, a distinguished Atlanta-based production house led by Presidential Lifetime Achievement Awardee Mann Robinson, approached me to direct and produce the title sequence for their upcoming TV series, "On Ten." Known for delivering top-tier movies and TV series, Mann Robinson Productions aimed to elevate the visual identity of their latest project, set to be streamed on FUBU network and Peacock TV. Boasting an ensemble cast including renowned celebrities like Shaq, Vivica Fox, and more, "On Ten" promised to be a star-studded production.
Process
1. Collaborative Initiation
- Mann Robinson enlisted my expertise for the title sequence of "On Ten," aiming to create a visually compelling introduction for the TV series featuring an impressive ensemble cast.
2. Thematic Ideation and Placeholder Refinement:
- Collaboratively conceptualized the theme and placeholders for the title sequence.
- Iteratively refined title placeholders to align with the narrative essence of "On Ten."
3. Mock Animations and Visual Testing:
- Presented preliminary title sequence concepts to Mann Robinson, the director, editor, and other stakeholders.
- Incorporated iterative feedback to enhance the sequence's visual and thematic impact, with special attention to celebrity features.
4. Stakeholder Presentation and Iterative Feedback:

- Merged all elements in post-production, creating multiple cuts of the title sequence.
- Submitted sequences for board review, incorporating feedback until a final version gained approval.
